Blackhawks Dominate Silverbacks en route to 48-0 Victory

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 6, 2021) -- The Inglewood Blackhawks moved their record to 5-0 as they defeated the host San Diego Silverbacks by the score of 48-0 at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Inglewood was led by QB Jimmy Do who threw for three touchdown while piling up 244 yards in the air. He threw touchdowns to receivers Tony Parham, Justin Sydney, and Kache Palacio. Do also contributed with a touchdown on the ground as well. RB Donte Turner led the ground game rushing for 102 yards on 12 carries. Sydney continues to light up the charts hauling in 5 receptions for 108 yards. ATH Trae Bickham showed why he's one of the top dual threats in the game as he rushed for 51 yards and an amazing crowd pleasing touchdown. 

Defensively the Blackhawks pitched their first shut-out of the season holding San Diego to only 89 yards of total offense. LB Kache Palacio led the defense with 10 tackles while LB Devin Jones was right there with 7.  The aforementioned Trae Bickham chipped in with 4 tackles of his own.  Inglewood intercepted the Silverbacks QB 4 times with two of those coming for FS Shaine Boyle who is among the league leaders in that category.  

The Blackhawks will travel to Valencia California this weekend as they take on the Santa Clarita Valley Tigers. This game will be live-streamed on YouTube starting at 5PM.
