Little Rock, AR — July 3, 2025 — The Arkansas Punishers are proud to announce their official entry into the Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) for the 2025 summer season. As one of the premier developmental football leagues in the nation, the GDFL gives the Punishers a national platform to showcase local talent and reignite the passion for summer football in the Natural State.

This move supports the Punishers’ mission: to provide athletes across Arkansas and surrounding areas with an elite opportunity to develop, compete, and pursue the next level of their football careers. From former college standouts to hungry underdogs looking for a second shot, the Punishers are ready to represent the state with pride, intensity, and unity.

“We’re not just here to play — we’re here to put Arkansas back on the map for summer football,” said team leadership. “Our players are hungry, our coaches are dedicated, and we’re ready to show the region what Arkansas football is all about.”

Head Coach Brandon McKeever and General Manager Hope Honorable added,
