Arkansas Punishers Add Cruz Williams, Bolstering Already Stacked Roster

The Arkansas Punishers just got even more dangerous.

Little Rock,AR-The team announced the signing of wide receiver Cruz Williams, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound playmaker from Little Rock, Arkansas. A product of Pulaski Academy, Williams brings size, speed, and proven production to an already loaded receiving corps.

Williams originally signed with Arkansas out of high school before transferring and making his mark as a redshirt freshman in 2009. He played in all 12 games, starting four, and finished the season with 15 catches for 259 yards and three touchdowns. His breakout performance came against Idaho, where he racked up 82 yards and two scores on just four receptions.

Known for his long frame and deep-ball ability, Williams’ 41-yard grab against Nevada stands as a reminder of his big-play threat. He consistently produced in clutch moments, finding the end zone against key conference opponents like Fresno State and Idaho.

Now, he brings that playmaking ability to the Punishers—a team that’s already stacked with offensive weapons. His arrival adds yet another mismatch for opposing secondaries to worry about.
