2017 GDFL SCHEDULE UNVEILED
Memphis,Tenn - The Gridiron Developmental Football League today released the complete schedule of regular-season games for the 2017 season, the league’s 8th year of operation. The season, comprising of 96 games, begins on Sat.,May. 13th and concludes on Sat., Jul 22nd each of the league’s clubs will play 8 games, 4 at home and 4 on the road.
Some highlights of the 2017 schedule:
- The 2017 regular season begins with a top 10 matchup and the Game of the Week. A rematch of the 2016 Impact Conference Championship will take place on May. 13th in Tulsa,Ok as the #3 Memphis Blast take on the #1 team in the country The Oklahoma Thunder.
- The Gateway Spartans begin their first season in Belleville,IL when they take on the Arkansas Nightmare in their inaugural GDFL home opener on May 13th.
- #4 Georgia Crush & #7 Crescent City Kings of New Orleans,Louisiana travel to Florida to take on the upstart Tampa Bay Warriors who recently made the transition from indoor arena.
The GDFL will begin celebration of its 8th season of play in May 2017, welcoming 8 new teams to the league. The Gridiron Developmental Football League is the number one professional development football League in the United States. The GDFL has promoted over 150 players to various other professional leagues including the NFL,CFL, Arena, & European Leagues. The GDFL currently has teams located in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri,South Carolina ,Florida, and Oklahoma we also have league affiliated teams Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio,California,Texas and Nevada.
